He is great as long as he doesnt have to be the main producer in an offense.

BB says:

"Um, yep."

Ameer Abdullah - RB - Lions
Lions.com reporter Tim Twentyman said the Lions are a "different offense" with Ameer Abdullah.

Twentyman was blown away by Abdullah's OTAs performance and was particularly struck by Abdullah's burst. He also complimented Abdullah's versatility, calling him the best" two-way back" on Detroit's roster. Abdullah's first two seasons didn't go as planned but the former second-round pick could be in for a breakout year now that he's finally healthy

Ever since he was drafted, I've clung to two big "ifs".. if he can stay on the field, and if he can hang onto the ball. He's as talented of a RB as you'll find anywhere, including all the big names. Hope he figures it out

figured Hill hype would start to really churn with Maclin being released

KC DST takes a step back

Something about that last line - 'still a WR2 with big upside'
Not sure I see how his upside is any better than Maclin's was as the WR1 in that same offense.
800-1000yds, 8-10 TDs.....what more are you going to get from Alex Smith?

Ravens signed Maclin to a two year deal
Great upgrade for the Ratturds... Sorry but not sorry Lefty :D

In a group of underachievers, Maclin should easily push for the WR1 role. Wallace is better suited for the go-route specialist. And from what I've seen of Perriman, he's more of the same, fast as hell but has meager hands. While they don't have a true slot guy, I wouldn't be surprised to see all 3 rotate in at different positions throughout each game.

should be interesting to see who comes out of that group - BAL passes a ton, at least recently.

And there are a lot of passes up for grabs now that Pitta is gone. I know they still have a stable of TE's to work with (Watson, Gillmore, Williams), but Flacco loved Pitta in particular.

Didn't know the TE depth chart was so banged up in Baltimore.

Watson (achilles) & Williams (knee) are still recovering from surgeries, and Gillmore (undisclosed) left last Thursday's practice to injury. Another guy named Waller is also on the shelf for an undisclosed injury. That leaves 2 unknowns by the name of Nick Boyle & Ryan Malleck as the only healthy TEs for their upcoming minicamp. Watson & Williams are expected to return for training camp though.

No worry - I'm good with the upgrade. ..... Ravens need him.

actually think wallace is the big loser, but this hurts perrimans development if they think he is a talent

Sounds like a Freeman/Coleman situation with Hyde hitting the welfare office ;)
