He's no good to me dead!
maybe not slam dunk but he has shown that he can compete at this level. None of the rookies have shown that yetEven if we're talking about guys last year, are we really sure Drake Maye is a slam dunk?

Maye got some pushback from Kurt Warner a few others. Chris Simms tier list was:He was projected to be QB2 or QB3 off the board pretty much throughout the entire draft process last year, results are a bit of a different convo than draft position/draft tiers, imo
Well, he had some good games on a not-so-good Patriots team, so there's that.Maye got some pushback from Kurt Warner a few others. Chris Simms tier list was:
Tier 1: Caleb Williams
Tier 2: Jayden Daniels
Tier 3: Nix, Penix, McCarthy
Tier 4: Maye
That is definitely jumbled up but Penix and Mccarthy are just huge question marks at this point.Maye got some pushback from Kurt Warner a few others. Chris Simms tier list was:

Tier 2: Jayden Daniels
Tier 3: Nix, Penix, McCarthy
Tier 4: Maye
I haven’t seen him play, but every time he changed teams he went up a level in competition.I don't know that any of them are slam dunks. Daniels could be nothing more than the current version of RG3. I thought Caleb was pretty rough. Nix did fine, but wasn't anything great, McCarthy has yet to step in the field, and Maye? A mixed bag.
But based on college career alone..I put them all above Cam Ward. He's much more like Rattler than he is the others. There's a reason he bounced around 3 schools trying to maintain a starting position
you weren't supposed to quote that before I made that realization and deleted that part...I haven’t seen him play, but every time he changed teams he went up a level in competition.
I think the Raiders would have picked him last year. Bowers would either go pick 2 or 4 in this years draft imo.Ward had declared for the 2024 draft for a bit. Probably made at least $30 million by waiting and going #1 instead of like #20 last year.
agreed, probably. I was happily surprised when they didn't just go ahead and take Rattler in the first..thank gawd for Bowers and a little restraintI think the Raiders would have picked him last year. Bowers would either go pick 2 or 4 in this years draft imo.
