Sorry… Love is my QB1 (traded Tua and Hopkins for DeVonta Smith and Dak)

Stafford doesn’t seem to have his old ceiling anymore, but maybe Kuppuka makes a difference.

I dunno what to think of Stafford. Was on pace for almost 4k last year, then Kupp goes down, then he goes down.. hasn't played with Kupp since, hasn't played with 2 legit WR's since that awesome 2021 where he was great with Kupp, Woods, and later, OBJ.

Has he lost a little? Maybe. Maybe he just hasn't had what he needs to work with?

I think, that if Kupp is healthy, and if Nacua isn't just a flash, and IF Stafford hasnt lost an edge, physically, than he should have no problem putting up bottom tier of the QB1's type numbers as a floor, easy ceiling of #1QB any given week

Well, it did take them a shit pot of drama, an entire offseason hold out, and a 4 week "injury"- more accurately described as a team imposed suspension...to get there.
Not sure I'd call it quick. They could've done this at anytime

Yeah the process seemed never-ending but why did it take him sitting out 4 weeks. Ridiculous

It’s looking like Goff will be throwing to LaPorta and Raymond.

Can’t recommend Dobbs, but assuming Detroit tries to establish the run early and often.

I don’t like either of those options. Like Smitty said the running game will be key. Zona could be down early so they throw it or it could be a close with the lackluster Cincy offense. It’s a lose-lose for me

Dobbs is no brainer here for me. The last three weeks he hasn't been under 19 fantasy points and two of those games were against San Francisco and Dallas. He's very underrated from a fantasy standpoint. In fact I am playing him over Goff and Dak this week in one league.

According to PFF, the Lions in the first quarter of each game ranks 3rd in the NFL for passing and scoring.
Just saying. Stats are our friends.

I honestly see no issue with Goff. Far too often we assume good team A is gonna beat bad team B and this player or that player isn't going to have a good day because his team won't be needing to lean on him, and far too often that games just don't play out that way.

Panthers may be 0-4, but they haven't been blown out once yet. And the Lions haven't been blowing the doors off anyone either.

Between Reynolds, the returning Williams, LaPorta, he's got pass catchers to use, and Monty isn't exactly inept at catching a few either.

I certainly don't expect anything more than 225 and 2 from either he, nor Dobbs so i wouldnt say to start either with any sort of confidence, but it aint exactly as cut and dry as all that. I'd prefer Goff who has a longer history of providing a relatively decent floor.

I honestly wouldn't be shocked to see Carolina win this game
