This is just not true and everyone knows that. Just because Rick Snider says it, doesn't mean it's true. He is simply giving his opinion.
It is mind-boggling to me that people are doing Snyder's work for him. Snyder wants us all to get distracted and focus on anything other than the truth. The truth is that this organization that once was a pillar in the NFL has been destroyed. We literally are LAST in NFL attendance and have 1 playoff win in 17 years......so the fans clearly get it.

Winning does not fix a rotten foundation. It just doesn't. I feel you continue to not grasp the reality of the situation here. If you are right, and "winning" will fix it, why is the organization aiming to build the smallest stadium in the league? Clearly, they aren't banking on it. A few fluke win seasons does not address the decay that has set in.

You can't say the past is the past when unethical and criminal behavior continues. Snyder allegedly withheld funds from other owners as of last year. . Snyder would love nothing more than the fans to give him a mulligan and continue buying tickets. The letters from Rivera, Dan, and Wright are comical, and nobody is buying it. Snyder claims he is not involved in the affairs of the team, but skips town in the name of "Commanders business".

Snyder is being subpoenaed, yet we need to focus on winning? The situation will NOT improve until Snyder is out. That is what the fans must concentrate on. Praying for Wentz to save us actually hurts the situation. If you want to support an owner who built a culture of intimidation, sexual harrassment, cover-ups, and violation of civil right, go right ahead Dean. Go ahead and continue to claim we are a step away from turning this all around.

If winning does cure everything, then we have the wrong group to do it. Rivera has proven he is not a winning coach (3 winning season in 11) and Carson Wentz is at his worst when the game is on the line. Sounds like we need a better GM/coach and starting QB right? You have failed to admit that.

I agree and Snyder has no business negotiating any stadium deals of any sort. He must be made to sell the team by having ALL sponsors pull out once he is exposed by congress. I'm guessing there is a laundry list of offenses in that Wilkinson report and it will be released.

I find myself agreeing with @skinsdad62. Last offseason fans were jacked going into the season, they expected a dominant defense anchored by the DL. They were stoked that the team would build off not only making the playoffs but giving Tampa the biggest test throughout their playoff run.

So what happened when they had the opener at home? Empty seats and tons of Chargers fans. Raise your hand if you personally know a Chargers fan. Yet they were there in mass, thousands of miles from their home field.

Because the Washington fans have turned on this team, I include myself. All this latest news, the coverup, the harassment of the victims has made it impossible for me to separate the team from the owner. They are one and the same. If fans want to believe things will be better after all of this offseason crap, even with a few wins over the likes of Jacksonville, they are mistaken IMO.

Yes but your argument was if they win their fans will return. Well they didn't win in 2020 but making the playoffs and giving the Bucs a test certainly got fans more excited.

Then the season started and we had tens of thousands of Washington fans selling their seats or simply leaving them unused. And that was after last offseason, after all of this the pushback will be much worse.

Read the posts. I think it's safe to say people like Dad, myself and anyone interested enough in the team to post on a team message board was a hard core fan. And both of us as well as others are wondering if we can even root for a team we have been passionate about for decades as a result of all of this.

I've been skeptical all along that Dan will be removed. But I keep going back to the owner quote that said everyone is tired of all the smoke surrounding this guy. And that was before the Commissioner was pranced before Congress where he really didn't defend Dan just the punishment. Well I would consider that considerably more smoke and I have little doubt more will come out. They can't be happy that his ownership is preventing the team from securing a stadium deal. I give it a 50/50 shot at this point that he is removed.

I agree with you that I want Dan removed but I'm not going to stop routing for my team b/c of Dan. I don't live in the area but if I did, I would go to a few games. even if they were a losing team. I never said I was boycotting anything dean . I have maintained the expansion team has to earn my fandom . I will not buy gear or merchandise nor will I go to a game until it has been earned . Right now , this team has a long way to go for them to earn my passion and fandom .

This owner betrayed me when he changed the name and lying about that and the fan participation in selecting a new one

You know that this team is not an expansion team. They just changed the nickname, helmets, and uniforms. How is that an expansion team? We never left. lol. AN expansion team would be when Carolina and Jax came into the league. They had totally new rosters

You yourself said you are "loyal" to the coaches. Even after I brought up numerous facts and errors Rivera has made, you continue to sing his praises. You are doing the same thing here.

You fail to grasp the reality of the situation and this has been pointed out by numerous posters. Snyder owns the team period. It is his. He can do whatever he wants with it. He can move, change the name, hire and fire who he wishes, or he can sell it. He has hijacked the team we all love and turned it into an unrecognizable organization that has fostered and supported abuse. Attending a game and ignoring this is irresponsible. The only way forward is for him to sell. By turning a blind eye to his actions and leadership, you keep things status quo. I think you are confusing the Commanders with the Packers to be honest. The fans don't own the team; Synder does. I think once that settles in, you will see things differently.

Praying for the fans to return under the current circumstances is short-sided as well. While Snyder is the main problem obviously, Rivera has made it worse with his lack of direction and poor decisions. Posters on the board, including myself, find it confusing that you buy into every decision of Rivera and support the organization regardless of the testimonies that continue to come out about Synder and the culture that was created. The Mayfield trade simply adds further fuel to the fire regarding how terrible of a job Rivera is doing. The Wentz trade is simply one of the worst trades in the NFL over the past few years. You continue to praise it.

I hope the fans continue to boycott the team and force actual change. We deserve better and we deserve a team that is not constantly in the news for all the wrong reasons. Lives have been negatively impacted due to "your favorite" team, yet, this does not seem to phase you.

IF this team is so toxic why did tmac resign here? Why did Allen resign here? You have no answer for that. You dont know how the Wentz trade will work out. Could be one of the best in team history or one of the worst, jury is still out. I understand why the trade was done, you dont. You have posters on here that didn't even know that he is under a cheap contract for 23 and 24. There is nothing wrong with the coaches of this team. RR is better than Gruden and its not even close. JDR is better than Barry. NOthing wrong with coaching. We just cant find a QB. Hopefully we got one.
