I don't think that Goodell has anything to do with this suit - yet.
correct Sir.

Too much Brand damage in a short amount of time can wipe out a lot of good stuff is my thinking here. May be pissing in the wind, just don't see this as many have stated here.

A good reputation is so very hard to get and harder to keep.

Brian Flores has a reputation of honesty and integrity

Stephon Ross has a reputation of being a crook.

Which should I believe? A man of integrity or a swindler?
I don't know much about Brian Flores before the Dolphins hired him, neither does most of the world. If he has so much integrity won't he had reported it when it happened? Waiting until after he got fired makes it look like a jilted lover and he doesn't have a shred of evidence ( as far as we know) to back it up. If he's making accusations and filing a law suit be best have something besides his say so to back it up or he could be facing a counter suit. Likely he's hoping the NFL will pay him to go away, maybe they will IDK, because sometimes that just is cheaper then a defending a law suit.

Dolphins and Browns.

If they can substantiate the claims, that should result in the stiffest punishments the league has ever handed out. Loss of multiple 1st round picks.
The ignorance of admitting he was paid to do it. Also, if that is the case, he should be barred from ever coaching in the NFL in any way.

I'm with you, and I've said this a few times - this is more like opportunity than integrity. Real integrity would have been taking this straight out when it happened. Not waiting until he's jobless and not getting hired somewhere to bring this to light. That doesn't mean he's a bad guy, or that it didn't happen, but the word integrity has a much deeper meaning that just doing the right thing. It's doing the right thing at the time, regardless of the consequences. Not waiting until it better benefits your own personal timeline.

The Texans should hire him since Watson wants to play for Flores. LOL.

Then they keep their franchise QB....

You are assuming it is about the money.

It is a sad state of affairs when an honest man of integrity with a great reputation is being accused of just wanting the money.

1. Maybe you're close to this situation and have the inside scoop but, I think it's much more than just losing the job.

2. What was it? 4 years ago, with the Elliott 6 game suspension, Jerry started looking around the room. I think it's safe to say there is no where near the majority, but Jerry & company wouldn't seem to want to tip rumors and just MIGHT be playing this a little on the down low. ALSO, has the washington Gruden scandal settled? Would adding bonus money to lose investigation have any effect towards a politically correct movement towards replacing Goodall?

3. Is that the complete point of his suit or just one part of the process which leads to a suit? I don't know. I also don't see how the end result would just be a change at commissioner. I think kicking Rodger to the curb would be the cherry on top but far from the only change to come from all this.
All good points.

I have no inside scoop. I'm looking at it as an attorney and through the lens of other hiring discrimination suits. And what he's doing is typical of angry former employees who, while suing for discrimination, will throw out all the mud and dirty secrets they can to smear their former employer regardless of whether it has anything to do with their hiring discrimination claims. I'm not necessarily knocking him for it; I'm saying it's not unusual in these types of cases.

Isn't the Washington case over? I don't think Gruden's case against the league will go very far, but the owners aren't blaming Goodell over the Gruden case anyway--they're all terrified their own emails and text messages will see the light of day. Still, if the Flores and/or Gruden cases costs owners enough in settlement, or the team/NFL lose in court (LOL), I could see them replacing Goodell. That's gonna take a lot more than public embarrassment b/c being the target of that embarrassment is one of Goodell's primary roles.

In my opinion, without his claim for employment discrimination, he'd have trouble keeping his case from being thrown out of court. I say that b/c, without the racial discrimination claims he's made, it's not against the law (criminal or civil) for a company to interview you while knowing full well that you're not getting the job or to fire you for unfair or capricious reasons. Though, the pay-to-lose allegations could be the basis for a lawsuit if it amounted to ownership asking Flores to do something illegal or commit some kind of fraud.

He got jilted and now he's lashing out. These things happen when a relationship goes sour.

Financial mistakes. With personal issues they are almost as bad as the young colored players in the league

Not a bad word was ever said about Flo in New England. Consider the source! Ross?
Ross makes Snyder look like a great leader!
This is what Ross said about letting Flores go:

“I made the decision today to part ways with Brian Flores,” Ross wrote. “After evaluating where we are as an organization and what we need going forward to improve, I determined that key dynamics of our football organization weren’t functioning at a level I want it to be and felt that this decision was in the best interest of the Miami Dolphins. I believe we have a talented young roster in place and have the opportunity to be much better in 2022. I want to thank Brian for his hard work and wish him nothing but the best in his future.”

It your basic "we want to move in a different direction" line. No real way to take the sting of getting fired with a explanation no matter how diplomatic you try to be.

I think in The Giant's case Schoen had already made it up in his mind he would hire Daboll no matter who was available. They had worked together for years in the same exact organization and both came up for higher positions at exact same time. So in their case it wasn't about racial discrimination. The other teams maybe?

What exactly are you saying?
The two first rounders the raiders had to cut this year for example. Henry Ruggs killed a young family driving 3 times the speed limit drunk. The other first rounder, Damon Arnette the Corner, who got cut for threatening people with a gun and then got cut again by the new team that signed him for doing the same thing again. Now you got coaches who covered up being paid to lose games for two years in the case of Flores and 5 years in the case of Hue Jackson. the list goes on and on
