Actually, hard liquor is worse than beer when it isn't taken in moderation. At your advanced age I thought you knew that.

Not from the standpoint of alcoholism. Too much hard liquor at one time can kill you. It would be very difficult to drink enough beer at one sitting to kill you. That's the only real difference. But one can be just as much an alkie regardless of which is their chosen drink.
