I am shocked! Shocked, I tell you!

Never have refs blown calls. Never in the history of the game. Now they blow a few calls, and EVERY blown call is against LaBron?

We should probably cancel the season at this point, right? I mean what else can possibly be done in the wake of these travesties?

You know what? You're a sarcastic f-wad...

...after 20 years. Very telling.

It was a missed call, but we cant review everything. The replay system is fine the way it is. Shit happens.
We are all extremely tired of the fool Lebron James. His act is very tired

Apparently when Lebron is out, the refs are then tired of AD lol. He couldn't get a call if he was paying on Saturday night.

LeBron has made 8,047 free throws in his career.
That's an average of 402 per season over 20 years.
His FT average is 73.5% which means he's had 11,000 free throws.
Given his career scoring, 20% or 1/5 of his scoring has come from free throws.

So he's been fouled roughly 5500 times in twenty years or 275 times a season or at least 4 times every game.

Since he's played more than 1600 games and has been to the line 5500 times, i would say that the missed call against the Celtics is pretty miniscule 1/5500.

The missed call affecting a game for Lebron would be 1/1600.

Just doing the math.

How much of his offensive output is via playing through contact? That contact should be quite often reflected in free throws, but his strength and ability to play through that contact is letting the defenders get away with that illegal contact. This game is not supposed to be a strength game, fouls are fouls.

Yeah, guys like Shaq, Karl Malone, Lebron, etc. can be extremely difficult to referee because their mix of strength and athleticism makes them virtually impossible to defend against without fouling.

End of the day though, a foul is a foul.

The trade off is that they should get called for more offensive fouls as well.

This assumes every foul was a shooting foul as well. He has been fouled a lot more than this!

Agree. Which adds to the difficulty. A certain amount of contact is legal, but when you're bigger and stronger than everyone else, even legal contact is going to have a bigger effect.

Doesn't allow for recent trends, which is what the issue truly is.

And how many fouls has he committed that were not called.

Piss and moan all you want, it all comes out in the wash.

If you say it's a trend, then it affects others just as badly.

Seriously, ask yourself. If Lebron was a career Cavalier, would you be as upset? Probably not.

I think that is the point though. That it doesn’t necessarily come out in the wash.

Superstars in general tend to get extra calls.

But guys like LeBron, Shaq etc often get less because they are so physically dominant and can finish anyway.

How ever many free throws LeBron has shot?

It would be more if he was officiated in the same way other stars are. And maybe a lot more.

At least that is LeBron’s opinion.

It's a trend for him as I've seen in Laker games. That's all I can speak to, didn't watch the Cavs games. Similar issue as to what happened with Shaq in the day; could have guys hanging on his back without calls.
