Never understood the dislike of Boomer. I always liked the dude. Him and Tom Jackson are a great combo!
I never got it either. He was, and is, one of the best ever. I will miss him.

Gotta agree with the fellas who are saying that Berman was likeable way back in the early days of ESPN, but his schtick is tired as hell now. Tom Jackson is just an asshole. I would say I wont miss either one of them, but I haven't watched any pre-game, post game or half time commentary in quite a while.............mostly because of clowns like these two.

Retiring and not returning to ESPN are not the same thing.
