Interesting nugget from the playoff machine.

If the Bengals lose in Pittsburgh and win against the Vikes.

If the Ravens and Dolphins both run the table.

The Bengals week 17 game against the Ravens could either give them the second seed with the win or knock them out of the playoffs with a loss.

Sounds about right. So thats how our hearts will be broken this season

Detriot coming in as a 6 point favorite against Baltimore gave me a change of heart on that game and shook up both the NFC and AFC by putting Miami and Detroit in the playoffs. Miami beating Pittsburgh sure helped them. I have New England's one loss coming in Miami next week. Tony Romo is finally successful in make or break game beating Philly for the NFC East crown in Week 17.

Damn that is scary. I do have the Dolphins running the table.

I could see the Dolphins running the table. They get NE at home this week and then a couple of duds.

The Ravens beating the Lions on MNF in Detroit and following it against a NE team coming off a loss (if Miami does win) is a little less believable.

NE must be hurting, they barely beat the browns.

you would anticipate though, they will find a way to win.

Without Gronk, the offense will go back to struggling to score points.

Without Gronk this year, I think I saw that they were averaging about 19 points a game...26 with him, or something like that.

Per ESPN stats, NE added 11 points a game when Gronk returned compared to the first 6 games when he was out.

That's making me dizzy. Just keep winning.

There is a really good chance Baltimore loses this week.

So, if the Bengals can win, not only are they "in" but they will win the AFCN with a 3 game lead and 2 games to play, effectively locking out the Ravens.

But, agreed, just win.
