They clinched. Not sure what to expect from them now. I'm sure they would want a better record than Baltimore, however. This series should be interesting.

I don't want them to be a 100 win team...

Obviously, we all want the best candidate to be our next manager, regardless if it's outside the organization or not.

But, I do hope, probably more than anything, that all of our internal candidates feel they have an opportunity to seek out the position, and getting a fair evaluation for it. The last thing I want us to have happen is, as an example, Steve Buechele to not feel he got a fair shake in interviewing.

This could have a negative ripple effective with the entire minor league managerial structure which could effective us for years to come.

Angels still have to play for home field advantage in the playoffs - so they should play their "usual" lineup against us. (after giving almost everyone a night off tonight)

I understand where you're coming from. But take a look at last night's lineup for them.

I was thinking today about the rumor that Wash had had some indiscretions with an Asian reporter. If that Asian reporter was here just to see Yu pitch and report on Yu's games then maybe that is why Wash was so upset when Yu got hurt. She might not have had any more reason to stick around. lol

The young Cuban, Jorge Soler, which some on here seemed to be excited about, has given you good reason to be.......368 avg, 5 HR in 16 games with OPS of 1.143.
