F the Houston Astros
Held out hope as long as we could but it was inevitable this year. Enjoyed the conversations, hope for better health and more turnovers next year.
Wondering what they are thinking on Hardy. He looked really good tonight.
Appreciate the words, I would say go Steelers, but that's the ONE AFC team I don't like. Hope you understand.Better days are definitely on the horizon, Cowboy fans. This was just a shitty season without Romo, they'll win again next season I'm sure
I hated the Steelers back in the day, got kind of a grudging respect for them now. Kind of like the Giants. I don't like their squad, but I respect their coach and would rather see them come out than the Eagles or stinking RedskinsAppreciate the words, I would say go Steelers, but that's the ONE AFC team I don't like. Aside from Jones and Scandrick, needs to be a complete overhaul in secondary.
Mo was supposed to be #3 this year. IMO he played well enough to be a #3 next year. Jones has showed some nice skills but also has had many poor plays that somehow don't seem to be discussed. But, when you throw a rookie to the wolves and ask him to learn a bunch of different positions that is to be expected. I hope Scandrick comes back healthy. I think with a starting caliber corner thrown into the mix and Carr kicked to the curb the secondary can be OK - pass rush should improve a little next year one way or another.Aside from Jones and Scandrick, needs to be a complete overhaul in secondary.
A lot of good and a lot of bad with Jones IMO. I think when you have a rookie DB you tend to stress the good going forward knowing it's a position that even the best usually look poorly at from time to time. I'm pretty high on Jones going forward and see him as our FS for years to come. My point was more I'm not sure I watched the same season that some others did when reading their Jones comments...He was out of position a lot, didn't seem to know who was his guy a lot and got burnt for some pretty big plays. But again, for a rookie DB I can write that off when looking to the future and focus on the talent he showed and some of the good plays he made for us...I was beginning to wonder if I was just really as football stupid as some posters think. All I have read is how good Jones has played and is on this board. Glad you said it.
Everson Walls was on the local radio two days ago talking about Jones. He said all corners get beat but the play the Jets made Saturday was pure Wilcox cause of the coverage they were in. Walls said the biggest problem all season was communications and mainly between the safety's.Jones has showed some nice skills but also has had many poor plays that somehow don't seem to be discussed.
Totally agree.Everson Walls was on the local radio two days ago talking about Jones. He said all corners get beat but the play the Jets made Saturday was pure Wilcox cause of the coverage they were in. Walls said the biggest problem all season was communications and mainly between the safety's.
Growing pains for sure but Jones flashed his skills and hopefully make him the free safety and draft another top end corner. Time for Carr to go
I have seen other rookie DBs have better seasons this year
who said he was the best rookie DB this season?
what's your problem?
well thanks....maybe next time wait for someone to say he wasNot a problem at all. He just hasn't been the best rookie.
