Burfict makes us one of the best in the NFL, but even without him for several games, I really like the talent on our defense. Especially if we get lucky and add Freeney for support and leadership. I guess that all depends on who makes it out of training camp and preseason alive.

I can't disagree about the talent on D..... But the numbers speak for themselves.... Look at what happened last season when Burfict returned to the lineup. He and a healthy Atkins are the hear of the defense.

I'm just praying this doesn't turn into a Marvin Jones type situation from 2 years ago.

For those that don't remember, they kept pushing back his return date until he ended up never playing a down.

Eifert may be softer than moist bread, but he's the best red zone threat we have. Top 3 reeciving TE easily when healthy.

they like to use 2 good TE's, so they don't even need Gronk to retire necessarily.
