+19. As others have said +20 isn't the magic number exactly but ending at least +20 is what needs to happen. Still lots of votes to be counted though.
Possible? He was on the Mitchell report with Pettite but the two were genuine nice guys who didn’t run away from it and act like dicks like Bonds, Clemens, McGwire and Palmerio. Ortiz does deserve to be in the HOF, but my opinion so do all PED users. You can’t erase an entire generation of players because they used substances that I’m betting 90% of ball players from the late 80’s until the mid 2000’s used some type of banned substance.
Heh just beat me on that one+25!
Wow.
Ortiz actually wasn't in the Mitchell Report (one of the criticisms with the report was that George Mitchell had a board position with the Red Sox, and no major current Red Sox players were listed in the report). It was a NYTimes report a few years after the Mitchell Report that claimed Ortiz failed a test back in '03 when MLB did their first run of anonymous testing. Nothing's been confirmed however since it was anonymous sources who leaked that.

Eagerly awaits the announcement for this afternoon.
I don't know about you guys but I'm super pumped up about this from an M's fan perspective and for the Mariners as a whole... I wasn't as stoked for Griffey as I am now for Edgar.
10 long years ends today and I'm pretty sure him and his family are relief in some ways.
