I don’t know, the whole trade had a crap load of rumors over it. Petitte, Rivera, Hitchcock and Davis were all rumored guys and as usual the Mariners ended up on the short end of the stick and gifted the Yankees their little dynasty. I still don’t care what anyone says, had they trade not gone down the Mariners have at least 1 WS title from 96-98 when they decided Randy wasn’t worth a contract like Tino wasn’t.

This is it boys... the HOF weekend for Edgar. Sad I'm gonna lose this avatar after this weekend but at the same time what a complete honor to have watched this man played baseball.

Super excited for him.

When are they having the celebration for him at the Pink? August 9th?

Sunday was great!! It's about time Seattle baseball fans had something to feel really proud for. I doubt Seattle fans will ever have the same feelings that they had in that season when Edgar had the walk off win. Watching the video of Edgar's hit and Griffey flying around third and sliding into home is absolutely epic. Those days will forever be what baseball was all about in Seattle.
