I think that Brown probably meant it as a compliment but it comes across as a backhanded compliment. Like, we should be crushing those scrubs but give them credit, they're feisty.

And like i said there isn't a role player in basketball who doesn't take that personal. Marcus Smart and all the other Celtics quality role players would take a comment such like that as disrespect as well. You dont get how athletes are wired.
Again They're Balling.

Guess you won't be happy until other teams are kneeling down kissing the towel boys feet.

I keep forgetting Miami is Doing this without their 3rd best player

Mazzulla has to be a dead man walking

I think there is a solid chance he gets gassed. But I also think it would be a bit premature.

Hes a rookie coaching against the best coach in the game. Tough to do. But I think he gets fired due to how many good coaches are now available.

Of course they take it personal. They should.

Most athletes like seeking out bulletin board material because it motivates them and helps them focus on the task at hand.

MJ used to invent false narratives in his head to give himself extra reason to crush his opponent.

I just don’t get why you need bulletin board material.

Nah.

He needs to go.

Can’t waste time with a contending roster seeing if a coach might be alright.

Championship windows are too short. And like you said, too many good, experienced coaches are available.

Either Monty or Bud might make good fits for Boston.

You shouldn't but up 3-0 leaves room for a letdown game. I think comments such as Brown will have miami ready to go

I don't think this Miami team has letdown games at this point. They may lose to a more talented Celtics team though, if the Celtics can snap out of their funk and play more confident basketball again. The Heat are in their heads right now.

Do the Celtics have any heart left to save some face? They certainly didn't show much in game 3. Could be the first ever double sweep in the conference finals.

Gotta hope for at least a tough game. Another game like game 3 could create some changes that may not be the best path forward if they jump to conclusions.
I concur.

Yeah, Idk what this teams problem is.

Easily the most talented team left in the field.

But they started faltering down the stretch and blew the 1 seed.

So it's not like there werent' signs of this coming.

It's weird looking at this roster, there's no real "holes"

But the D has collapsed and they need to play better.

I'm just not sure how you do that.

The roster is already top heavy but they have 4 firsts they can trade and enough salary to add a player over 30m

They should also buy another 2nd rounder this year with all the cash they got remaining and start developing some young, cheap centers since they can't roll with Al forever and that new Don't invest in your product apron will hinder them starting in 2024.

other than "easily the most talented team left" I agree with everything you said. I'd say that comment is based on name only.

We'll find out tonight.

A sweep would be devastating.

I wasn't expecting this outta the Celtics.

All credit goes to Miami.

But still disappointing how they've played this series.

Not even sure if they can avoid the sweep tonight.
