I wasn't expecting this outta the Celtics.

All credit goes to Miami.

But still disappointing how they've played this series.

Not even sure if they can avoid the sweep tonight.

Miami and Denver have been tough defensively and are hitting their 3s. Tough to compete with that, should be a contested finals, but Jokic is the advantage for Denver that I don't know if the Heat can match up with well.

Yeah, Idk what this teams problem is.

Easily the most talented team left in the field.

There's only 2 other teams in the field. They are more talented on paper than the Heat but not sure we can say they are more talented than Denver.

But they started faltering down the stretch and blew the 1 seed.

So it's not like there werent' signs of this coming.

It's weird looking at this roster, there's no real "holes"

But the D has collapsed and they need to play better.

I'm just not sure how you do that.

The roster is already top heavy but they have 4 firsts they can trade and enough salary to add a player over 30m

They should also buy another 2nd rounder this year with all the cash they got remaining and start developing some young, cheap centers since they can't roll with Al forever and that new Don't invest in your product apron will hinder them starting in 2024.

While a return by Herro this postseason hasn’t been ruled out should the Heat advance to the NBA Finals, it’s not considered likely by those close to the situation. There’s still no definitive timetable for his return.

No offense to Herro but they are doing just fine with him and have great chemistry. Might be a nice trade asset alongside Duncan if Miami wins it or heck even getting to Finals w/o proves they might not exactly need him. They got a bunch of nice two-way role players. With Gabe or Strus gone though having Herro back is nice....pair Duncan and Herro + picks might be a very nice 3rd option via trade though

Herro is a nice compliment to Trae at the 2. Bog off the bench. Murray can play the 1, 2 or 3. Makes sense
