Ok, enough about scumbag fans, let's get back to scumbag players. He should 100% get at least a game but he won't. New York Gary desperately wants the Rangers in the final. If Crosby getting mush brained got nothing I don't know what will.

Neeson is a big Ranger fan and has been going to games for years. His late wife was a big time Broadway actress so he moved to NY some time ago. He started going to games and got hooked. As Anastasio tried to run away, police say the witness tried to stop him, which resulted in Anastasio punching the witness in the face, too. Officers say the witness "sustained pain and bruising" to his face, but he refused medical treatment.
Shortly after that, police say officers arrived and arrested Anastasio. He was charged with assault, disorderly conduct and harassment — each count twice for each person who was allegedly assaulted.

I heard the same thing on the local news. Some Ranger fans tried to grab him and hold him for the cops and he managed to fight his way out. The Manhattan DA tends to let these things go without serious charges but I have a feeling he'll be making an exception in this case

I hope the DA actually does something here. And I hope that every Ranger player and every Ranger exec personally comes out and calls the guy what he is. And I hope MSG and all arenas in NYC metro ban him for life.

MSG will certainly ban him, they have a zero tolerance policy. I'd be surprised if they already didn't. I was a Ranger season ticket holder for years and became friendly with some of the security guys, they don't mess around.

I would imagine the guy who got decked is going to sue him in civil court as well and that's a slam dunk win. The victims insurance carrier will likely sue him for the medical costs as well.

This idiot likely ruined his life.
