That's true but that doesn't matter really. You still wouldn't have HCA in round 1 unless you finish with a top 4 record

Cleveland is too high. They won't won't make the playoffs. Just to remind all folks on Earth that God hates Cleveland, Lebron will tear his ACL and MCL in November, recently traded for Kevin Love will get into a fight with Kyrie Irving and will leave after the end of the season, and Gilbert will rehire Mike Brown for the hell of it.

 As a life-long browns fan, I can't disagree.

It's not about them getting worse. It's more about the East getting better

My top 8 right now looks like this

1) Chicago (with D-Rose)
2) Indiana (if Lance comes back)
3) Cleveland
4) Miami (with Deng)/Toronto
5) Miami (with Deng)/Toronto
6) Wizards
7) Atlanta
8) Knicks/Nets

If this were the Rose of old, then sure, go ahead and place Chi at the top. But this is 2 knee recons later. I would almost put money on him never being the same again.

Updated

1. Bulls. The one team that you know will try hard in the regular season and Pau would be big
2. Cavs. They probably have a move still left in them
3. Pacers. (If Lance) Theyve been mediocre for awhile but PG could make the leap next year
4. Heat. Assuming they get Deng who is a perfect fit for them.
5. Raptors. Should be about the same as last year but East should be better
6. Hawks. Spread offense of doom + Horford. They probably flip with the Heat if they get Deng
7. Wizards. Weird to say but Paul Pierce is a downgrade. Still dangerous in the playoffs
8. Hornets. Just weird to say

Even if he's not the same once he's not some avg player giving you 14 PPG they will be fine. Remember this is a 48 win team who just added Rose (since he hardly played last season), Gasol, Dougie, and Snell seem like he improved a lot also.

Wizards starting five matches up with any group in the EC fairly well, no?

Wizards are my dark horse right now. The issue with Miami is they're going to have to revamp the offense to center around Bosh's skill set. The plus side is that Wade gets to go back to being the player he can be. But there will be an obvious drop off from last season, regardless of how the rest of the roster breaks down when you lose the best player in the world. But right now, my top 4 prediction is 1. Chicago 2. Indiana 3. Cleveland 4. Miami/Washington.

Eh, I'm not sure they should be a darkhorse at the moment. They should on everyone's radar.

Hoping Nelson/Boozer

Actually, I think Riley will go with the certainty of a Birdman vs the potential unknown bidding war on Boozer.

Unless he wants possibly both?

For a minute I was torn.
I would like to see Ohio win a championship, but I can't root for James.
Since the Cavs can't win without James, I guess I'm not really torn.

If the Heats out first, I'll be like last years Heat Haters were, my team will be whoever is playing the Cavs.

I'd love to play them though. It would be a no lose situation for the Heat.

Can you even imagine the ridicule if the Heat knocked James out the year after he left them because they weren't good enough for him anymore?
