Defense saved the game for us. Offense did what they could.

Heinicke gutted out another win. He should get at least another week.

He also should be resigned.

10-9 as a starter, and a guy the team rallies behind.

no doubt on the bad sanp. Huge play. He had a great long throw to terry. Look at his stat line. its awful. He still makes the back breaking int in the 4th qtr. 3rd and 3 has no business throwing that ball with safety help for philly. The defense, running game and Joey Slye won it for us.

True, TH has noodle arm. But what you fail to grasp is that, while wentz can make all the throws, TH just makes plays. They may not be pretty, but he is a "gamer". Give me 11 of them and i win a super bowl. The NFL QB trash heap is littered with QBs that can make all the throws.

When I asked why that you were the first one to bring up Wentz you said "you don't read dean. normally true. You told me dean started but he commented on the win, not Wentz. I paid myself.

IT's a fact that oline and defense are playing much better the last 4 games. It's your opinion that you think TH is better than Wentz. TH needs a defense that gets turnovers and a running game to compete in games.

Wentz makes everybody around him look bad. He holds the ball too long, can’t move within the pocket, and is inaccurate because he takes hits. This makes the OL look bad. The OL probably hasn’t improved at all. It is the same players we were bitching about early in the season. What changed was the QB. Wentz led us to a scoreless first half against Detroit, scoreless game against the Eagles until 3 minutes left, scoreless first quarter and only 10 for the game against Dallas, and then there was the Chicago game where Wentz threw for less than 100 yards. Want to talk about defense and run game winning. Chicago scored 7 and we rushed for 130 and over 4 per carry.

TH is better at winning and making the team better than Wentz. Neither QB is good. Wentz just makes everybody worse. I agree TH needs help to win. Wentz can compete in some games but he still loses. Wentz can’t win because he puts the team in worse positions and nobody believes in him. This is what does not compute in your head. Wentz can have a team with a good defensive performance and run game but he will lose because of his mistakes. He will take a sack by holding it too long, he will hear footsteps and miss the open WR, or he will exhaust his defense by not sustaining a single drive. Essentially Wentz plays theposition like a coward and nobody follows a coward.

I think you mean 318 yards against JAX, which is not close to 400. Wentz did have two interceptions that game, He first one led to a FG as the defense held JAX to 19 yards that drive. The second one led to a TD because JAX only had 11 yards to get into the end zone. So yes, Wentz did make the defense look worse.

Nobody has said Wentz doesn’t have more talent than TH. I think you need to reevaluate your understanding of the English language. Having more talent doesn’t make a player better, nor does it make the team better.

Nobody has claimed the OL was playing at a high level early in the season, and I don’t think anybody, other than you, is claiming the OL is playing at a high level now. What I have said is Wentz makes the OL look bad or worse because that is what holding the ball too long and not being able to slide in the pocket does. It makes the OL look bad. The OL is not doing great when the run game averages 3 ypc.

Wentz doesn’t make a single throw that every good QB can’t make. The problem is Wentz misses easy throws that I can make. Does he have more arm talent than TH? Yes he does but Keff George had more arm talent than Brady and Manning so I am not sure how important arm talent is.

GB has been awful this season. They scored 7 against the Vikes, 14 against TB, 10 against the Jets, and 9 against Detroit. The defense was not doing this earlier in the year because Carson Wentz put them in bad positions, could not sustain drives, and sucked.

Nope, Wentz would not have been benched…AND we would not be 3-1 in the last four. I would guess we would have been 0-4 with Wentz.

I agree that TH is not the main reason we are 3-1. I will say TH is the main difference. You still think it is a coincidence that the team plays remarkably better with TH than they do with CW?
