Be interesting to hear RR go in-depth about the DL trying to do too much. I mean if a DT was supposed to slant to the left on a particular play. I'd like to hear how they did too much.
Pete is saying that Sweat is back and RR is saying what he did when Chase and Sweat were freelancing early in the yearBe interesting to hear RR go in-depth about the DL trying to do too much. I'm hearing that coaching is not getting through to the players. Same struggle 15 weeks ago. Hmmm...
Dude beats everyone who covers him. Just cannot get a good ball thrown to him.
you know we didnt have our d/line coach last nightI'm hearing that coaching is not getting through to the players. Same struggle 15 weeks ago. Hmmm...
I'm referring to the past 15 weeks and STILL, doing the wrong things dad. I understand half the staff was out last night.you know we didnt have our d/line coach last night
The defense was playing best when lesser talented players who played within the system (that is called coaching for those who don't understand) the defense played much better. When more talented players came back and went back to their old ways the defense failed. (that is called ignoring what the coaches are teaching) Guys like McLaurin and Curl have a habit of doing what they are coached. It seems to work for them.
All true. I had Cali ready to punch me in the nose for ragging on the DTs .... all of who I love. Sweat wasn't the only problem last night but I saw on several occasions he was 15 yards upfield trying to rush the QB. Have to give him credit for a sack/fumble too. All that said I don't think he or Young have played within the system. LC wasn't earlier either, he said he didn't like the move but he did it, he played to his strength and everyone's opinion changed mid-season.Eagles run on everyone. They are number one in the league. To try and hang last night on Sweat is a stretch imo.
Defense was playing better because the back ups were doing their job. Not dismissing that. What can't be dismissed as well is the fact that Gibson and the offense was controlling the clock. Something they haven't been able to do the last two weeks.
