I think we need to read up on the most dangerous neighborhoods ourselves rather just reading some hoop posters.

For real! My very first day I started Temple I got off the subway and these dudes had a gun pulled on someone. He ran out in the street to get away, gets hit by a car and when he’s lying there on the ground they run over and empty his pockets.
Saw a police shootout in the middle of broad street right in front of us. Scary shit at Temple. Fucking neighborhood is the worst

Hopefully Bill Cosby never bought you a drink....

Those suburban white kids are some bad asses. Or maybe it's the Asians?

"The enrolled student population at Temple University is 54.2% White, 11.6% Black or African American, 11.1% Asian, 5.81% Hispanic or Latino, 3% Two or More Races, 0.107% American Indian or Alaska Native, and 0.0789% Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islanders."

You do keep us entertained Billy.

North Philadelphia is arguably the most dangerous neighborhood in the city. Murders and crime are often associated with gang violence and drugs. It is not wise to venture off major streets. The area around Temple University is very dangerous.

Baltimore is known for it's violence. I'm amazed areas around Chicago aren't dominating page one.
you will get a wide variety of list depending on how they are judging it.
Often times smaller towns will get it from per capita or whatnot.

Its because those are smaller areas. As it spreads out and gets larger the stat numbers go down. Sort of like South Central LA being relatively large and having over 800 murders a year in the late 80s but Gary Indiana being the murder capital. I cant see an area being worse then Camden NJ. Really REALLY bad over there. North Philly is a HUGE area. I think the Kensington area of North Philly (really more east Philly) has the largest open air heroin area in the country. Its directly off an i-95 exit and every heroin addict in jersey (to the north) and Delaware (to the south) all go there. Freaking neighbors are terrorized from all the wide open shooting up going on. Needles all over the place they cant even let their kids go out to play. Terrible.

here is how I know my Neighborhoods.
Good
Not that bad
&
Bad.

Once you get to a certain bad. It kinda doesnt matter anymore.
At that point claiming one horrible place is more horrible than another horrible place is just vanity.

Its not vanity its an opinion. I cant say a thing without you taking issue with it. While I agree with your point I think the east coast ghettos have the worst feel. Go to Compton and there are palm trees and every house has a yard and space between them. Philly and Baltimore look very similar. Something about the lack of trees, no grass anywhere, shut down 125 year old factories and miles and miles row houses on narrow dark streets just make it look abysmal. Philly and Baltimore look almost the same. Same type of awful row houses. I grew up in a row house and you could hear your neighbor taking a dump. Awful.
