Do you play ultimate team? Because if not the only thing you’ll get is to play it 3 days early.

If you do play ultimate team then you get a bunch of Madden/NCAA currency you can buy packs with and some elite players right off the bat.

I’m honestly not sure because it would have happened before. Has to do with players signing the NFLPA shit and what not. Since they’re not in the NFL when the newest game is released, they’ll have to be added through people making custom draft classes

Yeah there will always be custom draft classes but part of the fun was going through and watching the college players you played with and against in the NFL. A pretty big aspect for me.

I read this entire thing over the span of a few hours because I had no intention to read 17,000+ words in one sitting but goddamn this game looks like it's going to be amazing. The entire recruiting section was great. I love the balance between traditional powerhouses and the little guys and what it's going to take to rebuild them. The bit about not being able to control the OC/DC as the head coach with what they develop is going to be an incredible wrinkle. I would pay double to have this game out next week instead of the 16th

Maybe. Reading thru some of the XP details you earn in dynasty and other things, that sounds like a massive opportunity for them to constantly push microtransactions. I can see a scenario where they basically force you to pay for certain things because they make grinding for XP the natural way incredibly time consuming.

True, although I’ll mess around with some of the Nintendo releases this year, my wife likes Mario Party a lot and I’ll play that Mario & Luigi game.

Also want to play Outlaws although some first impressions I’m reading about say Ubisoft (unsurprisingly) may have dropped the ball yet again.

Although Im always reluctant to support EA Sports. Maybe this one will be different because its really important for it to do well but I could see them screwing it up long-term.

I was never super into fighting games, but I had the most fun with MvC ones for sure

The fact that they skip PC year 1 tells me it won't be any different than Madden. I was really hoping to give it a shot, but I won't be. I have seen how madden treats PC already.

They are adamant it will a faster gameplay and not the bullshit madden gameplay. Some people that played Madden religiously and have already played NCAA pre-release have said the same
