Dwight wouldn't make it in the WNBA

Rather than continue to derail a good thread I will derail my own thread:

Serious question, if D12 did sign with the LA Sparks, or any WNBA team they would instantly win every game right?

I have heard that female professional tennis players regularly get beat by average college men? Or that average college basketball teams would beat WNBA teams?

Not trying to be sexist towards women just in general they are slighter of figure and shorter.

So if we put a dominant D12 who has a huge advantage where they are weakest that should ensure that team to roll?

And obviously the edge for an AI player or Drose would be much less vs a really large person.

They'd foul him every time he touched the ball and he'd still shoot just 55% from the FT line.

What about a prime Dirk? 7' but only 245, still would be the biggest in the league.

Average height in the WNBA is 5' 6" vs the NBA at 6' 7". The tallest WNBA player to ever play was 7' 2" Margo Dydek, may she rest in dominant shot blocking peace. After that there are several 6' 8" players. The average weight is 167 pounds and their heaviest being 240.

Dwight at 6' 11" would be the tallest and heaviest (with 10% BF or less) in the WNBA.

Dwight is already more premadonna than any woman in the WNBA so maybe if he grows his hair out...we should be talking multiple rings right?

hmm as it turns out Dwight would have to shoot 145 FTs a game for him to score 80 points a game. That is just below the average of the best WNBA offenses.

That would be 73 fouls needing to be committed for 73 possessions would be 1.8 possessions a minute...the math is checking out for this to be possible but Dwight would have to play 40 minutes for this, which he has never done. All those FTs would have to tire him out.

His defense should keep the opposing teams score on the very low end except with him shooting 55% from the so called charity stripe that would average 1.1 points per possession. Rookie Alex Bentley is hitting 52% from 3p range meaning she is responsible for 1.56 points per possession.

Once again his D should seal the inside allowing for more aggressive perimeter D so this could get interesting.

All the players on the opposite team would foul out. That means that Dwight would win on forfeit or eventually lack of players.

The best players in the WNBA aren't good enough to play D1 basketball on the men's side.

A good high school team could beat a good WNBA team.

This is apples to oranges. There is no comparison between male players and females. That isn't a sexist comment. I know from experience as I have played with and against female players on a top 25 college team during pick up games.

I did the math, he wouldn't make it
