It's not an excuse, it's an explanation. One reason the 2015 and 2016 finals went the way they did was injuries.

If the Rockets blow out the Ws tonight, it's a simple fact that Durant is one big reason. It's not an excuse.

I'm not discounting the Warriors just yet. Durant is their best player but the talent is still there and they have Game 7 at home so they could still do it even without Kevin Durant.

It's not an excuse. It's what happened. Shit happens. It doesn't matter. If you have a guy go down then you should have the depth on the bench to make up for it.
