Ibaka is out for 4-6 weeks and who knows how long Kanter will be out. Of coarse they have a chance but if the Pelicans can get healthy, they will probably get that 8th spot IMO.

Just looked at OKC's schedule and my god it gets rough after that Lakers game. They have like 6 straight against playoff teams & PHX/UTH on the road. If PHX beats them in PHX which is possible with KD/Ibaka out they could really be right back in the mix somehow. hahahha. If we actually snuck in somehow I'd be shocked, but it's not impossible thanks to some help from injuries.

I had Bulls vs OKC if they got healthy. Throw that out the window. Bulls vs GS now.

But, he might not play again in an OKC uniform if he is done for the season

I can see them trading him in the offseason

I cannot help but thinking a guy like James Harden (who never misses games) might be valuable to have on the roster.

But they wanted to give Kendrick Perkins and often Injured Serge Ibaka the money instead.

Get this straight, there is literally a zero percent chance of Durant being traded away.

This exact scenario is why I thought it was foolish when KD was trying to come back in December, almost a full month before some doctors said he should. The long term effects just aren't worth it with that type of injury. I know he's competitive and wanted to get the Thunder in the playoffs and probably thought he felt ok, but its better to play the safe side of things with injuries like this

Take Marc Gasol's injury last year for example… they were behind in the playoff race and could've tried to rush him back desperately but they waited it out until he was 100 percent and when he was back he dominated and they went on a crazy run to close out the season and propelled from the 10 seed to the 7 seed in the last couple months.

Thunder are still a great home team with Durant as their record proves and GSW been a shaky road team for the last 2 months are so. I don't think it is impossible for OKC to steal a game away from home and win 2 of their home games

OKC have 2 losses @ home in 2015 so basically in the last 3 months of basketball they have 2 home losses.

If all their missing is KD, it will be a 6 or 7 game series
