Crushing blow for OKC fans with Ibaka already being out for 4-6 weeks.

The year that they have their best overall team surrounding Russ & KD (after the moves they made during the deadline) KD can't stay healthy

That's disappointing to hear. Was really looking forward to the potential GSW-OKC clash in the playoffs with KD and Ibaka back healthy.

I hope WB still has his superman cape on, because he's going to have to shoulder all the load the rest of the way if the Thunder want to have any chance

Ouch! The high-seeded West teams just breathed a sigh of relief.

I still rather the Pelicans make the playoffs over OKC if I'm a Warriors fan.

Westbrook with the way he's been playing along with Ibaka, DJ, Canter, & the rest of the supporting cast still scare me much more than New Orleans.

With the way Westbrook is playing it isn't impossible for him to win a game on the road on his own and OKC is a good enough team at home to win at least 2 of their 3 home games which would guarantee a game 7 if they're able to win a road game

It is not definite.

But, he might not play again in an OKC uniform if he is done for the season

I can see them trading him in the offseason

I cannot help but thinking a guy like James Harden (who never misses games) might be valuable to have on the roster.

But they wanted to give Kendrick Perkins and often Injured Serge Ibaka the money instead.

You may be right Horns, but trading Durant would be the stupidest move OKC could make. KD to me is the second best player in the league, and was closing on LeBron before this season with all the injuries. If the injuries are fixable and don't affect his agility/explosiveness, I expect KD to come back with a chip on his shoulder, especially if traded.

with you here, Flauge. if his injury isn't too bad he SHOULD be able to bounce back strong and be as good as ever...

To be honest I'm more scared of AD than Westbrook. He might be puttin up triple doubles but he's shooting 40-43% while doing it

Thunder is clearly the better overall team. They would push GSW to 6 or 7 without Durant. Pelicans would lose in 5 if they're lucky

I don't know about 7 but 5-6 is more accurate for the thunder without durant. 6 max most likely 5

Thunder are still a great home team with Durant as their record proves and GSW been a shaky road team for the last 2 months are so. I don't think it is impossible for OKC to steal a game away from home and win 2 of their home games

OKC have 2 losses @ home in 2015 so basically in the last 3 months of basketball they have 2 home losses.

If all their missing is KD, it will be a 6 or 7 game series

Maybe Westbrook could steal the MVP from Harden or Curry with Durant out the remainder of the season and if he can keep up this crazy pace? They would need to squeak into the playoffs though which doesn't look very likely now?

why doesn't it look likely? They're still better than either team behind them
