I remember back in the early 80's listening to Herschel Walker speak...he sounded worse than Jameis. I remember how funny it was when Herschel answered an interviewer's question by beginning his sentence with 'Eye-zah gonna'......I can't remember the rest of his sentence, but it was something like........'try my best'...or...'play hard'.

Its not just slang. His Heisman speach was all over the place, and made absolute zero sense. Winston makes Gary Busey sound like a briliant public speaker.
