If I'm Buffalo I'm not too stressed based on the projections of these two players.

McD has been compared most to Crosby

Eichel has been touted as a Toews with more offense.

So far Toews has 2 cups to Sid's 1. And I have a lot more faith in Tim Murray to put a Blackhawks-esque team together than I do in Edmonton to put together a team resembling the 2009 Penguinos.

Gonna be a weird season for the Leafs - especially because a guy like Hanifin can probably jump right into the league and be a very useful d-man alongside Rielly. Scoring on them might be hard.

Having said that, if they were to wind up in the bottom two, I wouldn't hate it.
