Drew Lock Time

My comparison for Lock would be Matthew Stafford. Great arm strength, trusts his arm, athletic ability and makes quick decisions when to run.

Lock is way more athletic than Cutler. Only comparison I see with Cutler is the arm strength. For a Vandy kid Cutler sure didn’t make good quick decisions.

I've heard/seen that comparison before. What is it that is holding the Lions back? If we have Stafford Junior, what can the Broncos do to make him more successful?

The Lions have come up a bit then go right back down. Stafford has played through some injuries, back and shoulder issues but seems to play well through it. Their Defense and run game have also been an issue with him there, but just seems like that team will peak a bit then go right back down. Just can't get anything consistent going with that team.

I'd take Elway... Stafford surely isn't a bad thing with the right things around him. The problem with the Lions surely has not been Stafford.

It was nice to see a QB out there with some emotion who looked like he was having fun. When Lock threw his TD pass and made those little hand gestures a friend of mine watching the game said to me "Don't get cocky", I said dude we have 3 wins on the season... Lets have some fun!!!

Honestly Lock has shown the kind of swagger we haven’t had at the position for years. He may not be the Hall of Fame quarterback we all want but he’s definitely an “A” type personality that we haven’t had since Manning.

As much as I defended people like Paxton Lynch and Case Keenum they were B type players and to lead this team we need an “A” type personality.
