So even the most damning of stats is easily dismissed, right? Truly amazing!
But why does one game not make him elite, that is what you are pointing out obviously. Makes no sense.

Which goes to my point that Brees is a system QB. Hamper that system with at least average defense and Brees is suddenly very pedestrian. Fortunately for Brees, the Saints have a weak-ass schedule.
So the Seahawks have an average defense?

This is complete bullshit. Look at what Brees has accomplished since he's been in the league. Overrated my ass.
Just curious but if it was the 4th quarter and your team is down by 4 points with 2 minutes left, in what order would you want the following QBs:
Brees, Big Ben, Rivers, Wilson, Romo
He's just trying to take away from Seattle win
Interesting. I agree with Big Ben being #1 but Id have Wilson #2, Brees #3, Romo #4 and Rivers #5Big Ben
Rivers
Wilson
Brees
Romo

Dude, WTF?! Look at the title of the thread! Focus on the part that says "since Favre."
That order. But the drop off is real fast.
That's a good amount of time and it is in the discussion of all the QB's we are naming. You still fail, I think you just have a personal vendetta against him bc in no way is Brees overrated.
Whatever.
Bottomline: Brees is not overrated, and I think most could agree.
I actually think they are all in the same tier somewhere below the elite (Rodgers, Peyton, Brady) and somewhere above the solid starting QBs (Flacco, Ryan, Newton, Stafford, Luck)That order. But the drop off is real fast.
