that D on the final drive was the difference, genius

and the replacement at LT

Yeah, it's asking a bit too much of an "offensive team" and an all-pro QB to score more than 13 points. Oh, and those back to back 3 & outs didn't help either.

"Brees put them into a position to win and they didn't capitalize" or some such bullshit.

"His turnovers had no impact on the outcome of the game."

Saints win.

"He's the most amazing to ever play the position."

They lose.

"He can't do it all alone."

Bks, how you gonna spin it this week? Don't disappoint us by just admitting that he killed you today.

When the Saints lose and Brees plays bad, bks has two go to tactics...

1) he will focus on other teams to troll
2) he will talk about how he is a general sports fan so the saints losing doesn't really matter to him

Yep, dude got all pissy yesterday because I turned 'when the saints go marching in' into 'when the Aints come crashing down' and he started acting all high and mighty and was mad because I wouldn't disclose who is my favorite NFL team.

Rivers would be Manning-esque in that system. Way more yards and way fewer INTs.
Rivers sucks in the playoffs, so he is already Manning-esque.

Manning>Brees>Favre 95 years in league and only 1 SB win each. Brees should thank Peyton for his, Peyton should thank Caldwell and Grossman for his and Favre should thank pre-Brady for his , Bledsoe

Hammer, I would respect your opinion a lot more on this if you weren't a Peyton Manning fan.

Yeah, let's not forget "selfless" Drew "It's All About the Team" Brees holding the franchise over the barrel for his albatross contract.

They should take cue from a Brady who had his contracted lowered twice being 15th highest paid and not 20 mill mid 30's QBs sumbitches

Brees was playing without his top LT today and that really made a major difference. We don't lose this game if not for that. And he also has had poor center and guard play all year. It can't be Brees because he still looks good in terms of arm movement but the lack of protection has held the offense back ntm they have weak receivers and Graham has had a shoulder injury most of the year. Lets say this about Brees when he has SEC centers blocking for him next year and Amari Cooper to throw to. Hell they could trade for an elite. Marshall and Jeffery are probably itching to be traded.

Brady says he can play until he's in his 40s. If thats the case why can't Brees?
