The overrated Drew Brees with 183 yards and 3 TDs on 17/21 passing in the first half against the 2nd best defense in the NFL

Wow, what's going on with Brees today against the vaunted Rams defense? That's elite? :noidea:

Brees looks like total crap today.

It is a ROAD game after all for the Saints.

That whole entire team cannot even muster average football on the road most times.

Getting swamped? :noidea:

Someone always goes hyperbole based on one game.

Brees comes into the game with one of the lower QB interception % in the NFL @ 1.5%.

2 interceptions and he's just an average overrated QB? :noidea:

:laugh3:

I noticed that SeattleOspreys likes to use the word hyperbole a lot.

Yes, it's not popular to say it and the sheep will flip the fuck out in this thread. But it's time that we come out and say it.

Brees is quite possibly the most consistently overrated QB since Brett Favre. He's not an elite QB and maybe not even 2nd tier.

And I'll go a step further. Drew Brees must have been a marketing major at Purdue because it's been sheer genius how this man has profited so immensely off Hurricane Katrina sympathy. It's been amazing (and disgusting) to watch him pull it off.

And please, don't respond with numbers. Stats don't apply in this case because Drew Brees is a system QB. He's a product of a superb system that demands he work out of the shotgun on 95% of snaps. Plug someone like Flacco or Ryan into that system and they'd be true elites, threatening to enter the Peyton Manning realm. Hell, Tebow would look good in that system.

How's favre overrated, he has like every record and a ring..

Brees overrated??? Yeah right! He's been lighting it up for the Saints for a long time, and now that he has had a couple of bad games, armchair QB's think he is overrated! SMDH

If the Hawks didn't have RW (not in any way am I saying that he is better than Brees, but age is a factor down the road ), I would of been more than happy to see Drew in a Hawks Uniform a couple of years ago

In my opinion... He should be considered with the likes of Manning and Brady.

The dude is a baller and is the only one to take down Marino's record.

Gotta be worth something right?

Clearly the best player for the Panthers today is Drew Brees.

"It's not his fault, it's that vaunted Panthers secondary."

Will Brees come from behind to lead the league in INTs again this year? :noidea:

And the best player for the Saints is Newton. Talk about laying a goose egg in a big game.

There's :23 left on the clock in the Carolina game. Still plenty of time for Brees to throw another INT. :D

The multiple Brees TO's were the difference in that game. The loss rests squarely on his shoulders.
