The Bengals love that they can pick someone nobody expects so they can explain how they know better than the analysts that work for the media outlets.

just wait.

From Rotoworld with Rotoworld comments:

Western Michigan WR Daniel Braverman has already visited the Vikings, Saints and Dolphins, according to Rand Getlin of NFL Media.

Braverman also has meetings with the Raiders, Bengals and Seahawks. Braverman is a true role player in the NFL, like a one use tool in the kitchen. He thrives in the slot, and his game matches up extremely well. Everyone will project Braverman to land with the Patriots, and it is possible, but the question is in what round? Also, the success rate is very low for drafted receivers who were not invited to the NFL Combine, but we will take our chances on Southern Miss' Mike Thomas and Braverman.

From Rotoworld with Rotoworld comments:

During German WR Moritz Boehringer's positional workout at Florida Atlantic this weekend, the Cincinnati Bengals, Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons, Chicago Bears, New York Jets, Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots and Denver Broncos all sent representatives.

This according to TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline. It's always fun to see the draft community unexpectedly freak out over an unknown entity late in the process. That appears to be the case with Boehringer, who spun heads Exorcist-style when he sprinted through the 40-yard dash in the neighborhood of 4.40 seconds and sliced the three-cone drill to the tune of 6.64 seconds during Florida Atlantic's Pro Day at the end of March. The 6-foot-4, 225-pounder was back at it this weekend for positional drills. Per Pauline, "He not only caught the ball well but absorbed the requests and easily ran the route tree asked of him. Just like his initial pro-day on March 31st, Boehringer looked very natural." Per NFL.com, the Patriots, Packers, Vikings, Broncos and Chiefs are among the more interested parties here. Boehringer has likely turned himself into a Day 3 selection.

From Rotoworld with Rotoworld comments:

NFL Media senior analyst Gil Brandt referred to Central Arkansas DE Jonathan Woodard as a "[g]ood athlete and very strong."

Brandt included Woodard on his list of Combine snubs who potentially improved their draft stocks via their Pro Days. During his time to shine, the 6-foot-4, 271-pounder ran the 40-yard dash in 4.88 and 4.89 seconds. He additionally ran the short shuttle in 4.20 seconds and showed off a nice strength element with his 28 bench press reps. The Bengals' DL coach showed up to watch all of that action. In late August, NFL Media draft analyst Chad Reuter wrote that Woodard needed to prove he could "beat NFL-quality tackles off the snap." He simply didn't face much tough competition during his time with the Bears.

From Rotoworld with Rotoworld comments:

UCLA G Alex Redmond visited the Bengals on Monday, according to Alex Marvez.

Redmond declared early for the draft and elected not to play in the school's bowl game. Tony Pauline previously reported Redmond often showed up late to team activities during his time with the Bruins. Redmond was expected to turn in an outstanding workout at the NFL Combine, but instead graded in the 28th percentile for athleticism at his position. Redmond is likely a day three, depth selection.

From Rotoworld with Rotoworld comments:

Houston CB William Jackson visits the Bengals and Jaguars this week, according to Texans beat writer Aaron Wilson.

This is on the heels of visiting the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams. Jackson has been a busy man during recent weeks, and signs point to him being the third corner off the board on April 28. In fact, WHIII has a real chance to be a top 15 selection. Teams who covet size at the position could prefer Jackson over Mackensie Alexander.
