We do have some talent offensively, that difference maker could easily be a QB.

well that qb has to be worth the pick . i not seeing any first rounders at qb that will be there when we pick

and its a huge gamble to pick murray in round one

I agree, he has to be worth the pick and I'd be willing to take that risk if I can get assurances that he will play for us. Now about that gamble, we currently have Smith and McCoy without any guarantees that either will ever take a snap in the league again. That alone makes this a desperate team along with decades of futility, so what do we do? Sign a journeyman QB and hope for better choices in 2020? Well, unless you're talking about truly tanking by this perpetual 8-8 type team, and going 3-13 or something like that, we would still need to move up in the 2021 draft to get our guy!

The one exception is Murray in the upcoming NFL draft. Now consider this... No one is seriously thinking that this team will win another game this year and as of this moment we're sitting on the #14 pick and if true will be a top 10 pick. The first 5 teams as of this moment won't be picking a QB, that means to make sure we get him the cost would be whatever it takes to move up 3-4 spots which is far less than what it would take in an otherwise ordinary 8-8 type finish that this team is noted for in 2021.

The only advantage that I can see in waiting for 2021 is, whomever we draft to play the position will have a very long time to work on his craft because there won't be any football in the lock-out year.

Watch "ESPN's Todd McShay Talks 2019 NFL Draft & More w/Dan Patrick | Full Interview | 12/7/18" on YouTube

McShay says there is not one plug and play QB in the entire draft. Not sayin his opinion is the end all be all but he told Kiper over and over again that Jimmy Clausen didn't have it and took a lot of crap for saying Kalil Mack would be better than Clowney.

Remember, at that time Clowney was some freak of nature that was a once in a lifetime talent.

I hope the Skins don't reach. I would have no problem going with Colt for six games while Alex is on the PUP and taking a QB next year.

If they don't love a guy I would wait for a mid round guy. Then too I am talking about the Redskins making a wise decision. :trash:

Hoping for Allen at this point. I think if you put Allen across from RK, that changes the entire defense. Probably take 7-9 to reach him though.

Well orakpo fell to us when he came out so maybe Allen will

We need a potential game changer no matter where he plays

I hope they make another run at Josh Gordon, but with him and Reuben in the building, that may be too much. I really like Deebo in the 3rd at WR. Game breaker and solves our return game.

I've accepted the fact that we are gonna reach for a QB early, but I'd go:

1. Josh Allen OLB Kentucky
2. J. Love CB Notre Dame
3. D. Samuel WR South Carolina
3. Best guard available if they can't sign Paradis from Denver. Not sure they can afford to have that much money tied up at guard with Scherff getting a big bump in salary.

Very early, all this will change, but that kid, Lock from Missouri is 6'5 with a cannon. I'm hoping he slips.

Could you imagine Kerrigan and Allen on the edge, with those three rottweilers up front and Reuben in the middle? Now that's a legit top 10 defense with the right coordinator.

Don’t reach for a qb is my advice . Don’t draft a Hubert , a Haskins , or a lock. Unless he is a day one starter type . Pick the duke kid in round 2 and see if he can be developed

They can keep Dox as a depth guy I guess but overall he has been a bust. He is at 39 catches and 2 TDs this year.

It is time to give up on Mo Harris in my opinion … he is Marko Mitchell. Great in the preseason. 28 catches 0 TDs for the season.

I don't know how or where they are going to get a couple of receivers that are pretty good. Especially with the cap issues. The last two big dollar FAs have barely played.

I think Sims has to step up with Quinn . What I am seeing in this draft and our cap issues I don’t know if you can address wr or Ilb . I think SDH will have to step. In with JHC. I think Qb , CB and Olb along with TE. Just became needs. Add safety now
