I was checking out another redskins message board someone pointed out since TE Whitten was drafted Dallas have drafted 8 te during that time .. yes most did not pan out Witten was always healthy the reason I bring this up is because I been saying this for years the FO is Stagnent since Jordan Reed how many TE drafted ?? 1 since Kerrigan how many olb we drafted 2 you get the point

I ask you guys this if Dt Danny Wilkinson or if dt Ed Oliver is there for us and the best rb is there for us would you pass on them 3 because Allen and payne is good enough waiting on guice is good enough ??? I bet the skins go Cb because we probaly let Norman go .. I would go DL again in this scenario

Unfortunately, not sure theres going to be much at QB in this class. Obviously plenty of time for that to change but right now Im not encouraged.

Maybe that Trace guy though huh @Sportster 72 ?

TEs since Reed...Ted Bolser (2014, 7th), Jeremy Sprinkle (2017, 5th),

OLB since Kerrigan...Markus White (2011, 7th), Bandon Jenkins (2013, 5th), Trent Murphy (2014, 2nd), Preston Smith (2015, 2nd)

Now, we drafted RK in 2011. In eight years, we drafted 4 players to play OLB. We drafted JR in 2013, and have selected two TEs in 6 years.

Jason Witten was drafted in 2003, 16 drafts. Dallas actually drafted 9 TEs. That being said, they only drafted 3 TEs in the 6 drafts following Witten being drafted...same time span as Reed.

So, get the facts before making stupid comparisons.

Yep!! Trent will be 31 years old and with his injury history, no telling how long he's going to hold up. It's best to prepare too early than too late. Beyond that, this season will beat him up a bit more, hopefully he manages to get through the entire season somewhat healthy! Want to take a guess at how many times he's played 16 games since 2014? Those injuries mount up even to the very best of them, which we hope he remains.

2014 = 15 games played

2015 = 14 games played

2016 = 12 games played

2017 = 10 games played

Notice anything? You may disagree, but the facts are what they are, and as we all know, father time remains undefeated.
