There is a lot that goes into deciding whether or not the 3rd rounder you choose actually starts his rookie season. I think it would be fair to say you can target interior lineman much faster than skilled position players to start for your team their rookie season however, that choice is likely after much homework on the player to determine he is a plug n play type player. We had resigned Nyseke so why not target a Guard in that round? Most players take different times to develop and it appears Geron will take some time. With the progressing amount of injuries TW's has seen the past 2 seasons, we may not have time to wait on Geron 3 years.

Understand what expect means . You plan for the worst and hope for the best

When they mock DTs and pass rushers early, that means the talent is at those positions. Just because we get the best WR in a draft, Malcolm Kelly and Devin Thomas, doesn’t mean they are actually any good.

I love you coach, you are the just like the guy who got dumped by the HOT girl. Your hate clouds your vision … or you don't know much about the game but makes no matter. My guess is you are in for three long years of watching him play well.

You were correct that the Vikings got a defensive TD. At the time you said the Eagles could not stop the Vikings run game Minnesota had run for 57 yards and 25 of those yards were from WR Diggs. You also failed to mention two missed FGs one less than 20 yards. Oddly you are crediting the kicker with the win. He did help but he easily could have cost them the game.

If you watched the games both defenses played pretty well. Until that last mostly meaningless TD by the Iggles each team only had one offensive TD.

If we draft one, who will throw him the ball? I know...we should line him up in the back field so our QB might mistake him for a RB.

The problem is the Skins need a WR and the FA crop this year is crap. From the looks of the mocks, the guys that will be there when we pick are big, lumbering, 50/50 guys. We have that.

So if a WR falls that I like, I think we gotta go in that direction. Do you want to bring Norman back? Do you want to bring Preston back. If not, corner and OLB jump to the front of the line imo.

You can never have enough D Line, but we have other holes. Another thing to watch is if a QB slips. Groom him for a year or two and make a run with him on a rookie contract the way The Eagles, Chiefs and Rams are.

I was looking at mocks i seen tons of DT/De going in the first round so isaid to my self we be picking around 20 -25 the only top notch player at that point would be TE Fantz.. A good center Guard guy might be there mocks will change after combine .. but it seems the last 2 drafts we been selecting the fall guy what if the BpA is a DT/de when we pick
