What do you all think if this list ? Is there a franchise guy in this group or is it a bunch of Kevin Hogan’s ?

Rypien would be a cool story based on his uncle being here. It is going to be interesting to see what they do. If their is truth in the idea Smith is finished the Redskins are screwed and are going to have to be really creative at the QB position. Not something this front office is known for.

You would have to imagine Norman is gone to offset Smith's hit on the cap. Trent has a hard time staying healthy, what about Scherff, Kerrigan, Reed. You have young players along the Dline that are going to need to be paid like Ioannidis. That one injury could effect a lot of positions.

I caught a bunch of flak for wanting to trade Kerrigan last year, but I believe that I'm pretty safe in saying that he might nave played down his value this year. I'm pretty sure that he won't bring us a 1st, and now a high second is questionable. As for Williams, another player that I wanted to trade in previous years, he too might not bring the value that many here believe he will.

Reed, Williams are having trouble staying healthy. Scherff is the youngest and a valuable player. Kerrigan is still productive. He will most likely have 10-11 sacks this year and direct responsibility for the Dallas win. The Redskins have no replacement for any of these players. Don't think you can get a 1st for any of them, maybe Scherff.

My strategy , whatever the abc crowd says is a good qb for us do the opposite because none of them can look at film and determine good play at qb

Yeah, that means if there's a team willing to give him the opportunity. Don't underestimate his ability to do both or overestimate the importance of the QB position.

Could be a replacement for Preston if the Skins don't bring him back. Probably have to go 6-10 to get him, but it's early. Haven't even had the combines or bowl games yet. The guy looks disruptive though. If we go QB in the first, we will be passing up on some real talent, talent that would go higher in other drafts if five of the projected top six players weren't DTs, which is GREAT for us.

We do have some talent offensively, that difference maker could easily be a QB.
