(By the way, I'll toss Jim's Doors up for a nomination in the MBBRL B league.)

Also, just for future reference mike Reiss is the best patriots source. The globe is meh.

OK, Blount didn't show much last season because Tampa moved to Doug Martin. He broke 900 yards his first two seasons, which, while not dominant by any means, is more than bolden has done. I see five running backs on the final roster, though, and think as long as bolden shows he is healthy he will be OK.

You may be right on that.

I have heard a lot of negatives about Blount as a runner since he broke into the league though. He is a physical runner, but is quite limited in terms of his overall skill set. He really is like a poor man's BJGE in some ways. He may be a better fit than Bolden for what the Pats need him to do, even though Bolden is the more talented back.

I have always been a bit high on him. I was surprised with how he went from 900 yards the previous year to almost nothing, tbh, and have always enjoyed watching him run. We'll see what happens here, but if he is the player I view him as, he will get a chance to prove it.

(My analysis here is in the somewhat murky ground of my "eye test" and not based on a lot of statistical knowledge, but my eyes have served me right and it's hard for me to stray from them.)

Well I can % 100 see where your coming from on that one. Its the same thing I used two years ago during preseason to peg Ridley as the guy that would force BJGE out of town, and not Vareen...unfotunately it took until late late in the season to have it pay any dividends.
But it also the same eye test the Blount has failed, multiple times..in my eyes at least. Just don't see him as a viable option as anything other than a short yardage back in NE. And any of the RB's on the roster are as good at that role as Blount was in TB. Just doesn't make sense to me. Of course the hoodie can take dog shit and get a good season out of them somehow.

I saw a good player on a bad team. He should have a decent chance to represent himself, and if he can't back it up behind our line with Tom Brady threatening to take the top off a defense, he's not going to do well anywhere.

For the record, fantasy wise I'm talking last round or two, not mid or early-late rounds.

Also not every league. I really try to avoid having too many of my own team.
