i think this is interesting... Jones is the fastest and most dynamic RB the packers have so i see Jones being the change of pace guy for TY Montgomery... But if Montgomery goes down, i see Williams to be the more likely RB1 for the team... But either way, i see Jones being the backup, just not the handcuff...

So many options and questions in this situation; can Ty handle a full-season load of carries, or will he become more of a universal plug-in kinda guy? If Williams shows he's got the stuff, will he become the short yardage TD guy at first, then be groomed as the RB1? Will they just go with a 'hot hand' three headed monster? Will Mays say "F this!" and come outta nowhere to show 'em all up?

It really is an interesting situation; much more so than the one my Vikes have. Right now, I am leaning towards agreeing with your analysis.

In any event, I think it's pretty clear that Ty will be a ppr stud at the very least.

Maybe, but Ty could also end up being the ultimate universal kinda guy; that is, if he doesn't just take over the RB1 slot outright, which could also surely happen.

After all, at this point it's his to lose.

Interesting article on Mays, although it should be taken with a grain or three of salt considering the source:

Devante Mays: The overlooked rookie running back
The Mays story is a fantastic one. Normally I would stay out of Packers fantasy talk to not jinx my team but if Monty's body holds up he will run away with the job. His body type is extremely similar to Bell's. As long as I get real life Ws I honestly don't care :suds:

Sure, it could certainly end up that way. Wouldn't surprise me in the least. :suds:

i agree, but for 2 years, literally EVERY dolphin is gonna break out, the propaganda coming out of miami is nuts, TAnny will be top 10, parker is gonna break out, ajayi will have 1900 combined yards, thomas has 12tds, landry 100+ catches, i mean come on, they cant all go off

I see a regression from Ajayi this season

for me it was inflated statsfrom 3 200 yard games against bad d's and struggling badly against the better ones

Pittsburgh was #13 vs the run. . And maybe Buffalo was so bad, because of Ajayi? They'd certainly be better than 29th if he had just had normal games against them? I have no skin in the game with him, but i do think he'll be a strong player this year

Any particular reason why, or a hunch?

a hunch for me. I mean I just have a feeling that teams will stop him this season
