I mean, most QBs taken late 3rd round or later are not pro QBs. He'd have been picked by one of those guys who really run NFL drafts (not the so-called experts or clueless fans of course) IMO.
It's not very common for a team to take not just two QBs in the same draft, but two RBs as well. For the latter, it's possible your GM is attempting to create in Judkins & Sampson, the Lions equivalent of thunder & ice. Those are two talented backs your team drafted and they just might pull it off. I'll never understand taking Gabriel with the 94th pick, but that's water under the bridge now. I still think the highlight in your draft this year was to obtain the Jags 1st rounder next year. There's a decent possibility, if not probability that you'll end up with two picks in the top 10. That should land you some serious leverage next offseason.

But people get productive players in the 3rd round every draft. You likely have some on your team now. That’s why this was such a wasted pick and why I called it out.
