He could have navigated the Carson Wentz thing, but that was the breaking point.

That brought embarrassment and rebuke from most media and other teams.

The players who supported him all turned on him after that fiasco.

The players wanted him gone as well.

They only have a rebuild if they can't fix Wentz.

And i'd agree with others that howie needs to be removed from any personnel decisions. They do have Dorsey in the mix at this point and perhaps that may be a solution.
