Pederson wasn't the reason you guys won a Super Bowl (Reich was, along with others) and wasn't going to get the Eagles anywhere. It seems knee jerk, but it's 100% the correct move by the Eagles org.

I absolutely agree on this.
The offense was never the same since Reich left.
Loved Dougie's 4th quarter and 2 point conversion gambles, but his choice of assistant coaches has been terrible and the offense has struggled as a result.

It was time.

Roseman is an idiot as well, but I guess one step at a time? If the Eagles get a decent head coach and snag Schneider away from Seattle (who also needs to fire the entire coaching staff) yikes!

Well he just won another power struggle so not only is he again the talent evaluator but he will be again hiring a HC with the primary ability of being a yes man to Roseman.

Nope. I'm actually nervous Seattle will let him walk. He's been great. The coaching staff is what I'm NOT sold on with Seattle.

Just my opinion here. If Lurie falls in love with someone, it may come down to kicking Howie back to doing the books and that's it. That was the deal when Chip arrived. Any established HC will not come to the Eagles organization now with Howie making all the decisions.

We'll take him in Detroit! He really messed up in the Philly, but I think he will learn from those mistakes. I think he is still a very good coach.

I was coming here to say the same thing, Sheila already stated she wants a HC with experience. I don't like what he did to end the season though.

Yeah, I hate to agree with that, but it may be true.

He would have likely survived had he not Tanked Week 17.

He could have navigated the Carson Wentz thing, but that was the breaking point.

That brought embarrassment and rebuke from most media and other teams.

The players who supported him all turned on him after that fiasco.

The players wanted him gone as well.
