To me rookies have a hard enough time learning the play book in time for training camp so pushing the draft back further just makes the rookie year that much tougher. Plus makes it that much tougher for teams to figure out what they have going into the season. Goodell just realizes how much the draft has been hyped up over the last few years and wants to capitalize on it as much as possible. I am already seeing though this extra week or two here is pushing fans to have draft burn out. Pushing it back further to me is just going to hurt he quality of the game on the field from rookies plus fans just getting sick and tired of hearing about the draft.
