Russ is slander free from me today. Also noticed he only had 2 turnovers too. Incredible.

Today...lolz
Now trying to do something to honor a close friend who was murdered is a bad thing lmfaoooo
I'm not buying that as the original intent. He dedicated it to him afterwards. Regardless, Russ has always been a stat whore.
So he should have come out and made it known (while still grieving btw) that he is going to try and drop 20-20-20 to honor his friend?
I forgot all those other times Russ dropped 20-20-20......
If you can't see the reason why he went out of his way to do what he did then this is pointless conversation

This is much more impressive than Kobe's 81.

I don't know. It was a crazy stat line and the 20 rebounds for a guard is really impressive.
But 81 points in an NBA game is pretty crazy too. When Wilt got his 100 points, it was at a time where he was just physically bigger and stronger than literally every one else in the league and all of the points were basically right at the rim.
Kobe was a "regular size player" (by NBA standards) and scored in variety of ways. Most of his points were from outside the paint.
Overall, probably pretty close to equal, imo.
Shooting 8-23 to get 20 pts? Nah.
Wilt put up 22 pts, 25 reb, 21 assists, more impressive.

I agree with you re: him doing it for his friend. That's why I haven't bashed him for staying in with the game decided to get his stats. Honestly, only having 2 turnovers is probably the most impressive part, imo. That and the rebounds. 20 rebounds for a guard is crazy.
But I get @shopson67 point. I'm sure that he's probably not alone in finding it a bit suspect that a guy who is kind of known for being a stat whore, chooses stats as a way to honor his friend.
Why is adding up to 60 important? I assume it has something to do with Nipsey Hussle, but I'm not into rap.

Mute button?I barely watch players only games because I hate the commentary that much

Wilt did it against guys that were 6-7 inches smaller than him. The assists no doubt a great feat but the rebounds and points were a piece of cake.
For a guard 20 assists and 20 rebounds in the same game is just stupid.
