We should take the chance, doing nothing because we might not have someone better replace him gets us nowhere. It's like you suck at your job but your managers wont fire you because they're afraid the person they hire to replace you with will be just as bad so they do nothing and hope you as the problem fixes itself.

Odd. Jay Cutler is out a few weeks with cracked ribs, yet our QB can play with a cracked brain. At least there is one positive about him.

I don't know what the Monday discussions brought, but if they aren't at least contemplating putting Brock in and letting him get some time with the 1's this week then we are going to get murdered Sunday. Probably get murdered with him, but at least the offense can go out there with some expectations outside of sure 3 and outs or a turnover. Osweiler has the bigger arm and he's not afraid to chuck it. We have to make a change and see where it gets us.

I could see that coming but I still think he's on a short leash. If the Broncos offense struggles again in the first two quarters, I think we'll see Osweiller come in. I suppose that I should clarify that at least I THINK that's what should happen.

I know that our options behind Siemian don't look great but this is one of those times that I believe the Broncos have to make a change, in order to avoid the definition of insanity.

I could actually see this coaching staff swapping QB's out and in on alternative series. They have been doing it at LG, fuck it, let's do it at every spot on the roster instead of naming starters. Everyone's a starter! I'd like to be the first to welcome the Denver Care Bears to the NFL.

Oh and I do remember the HC talking about how lucky he was to take over a team that wasn't broken when he took the job, because that's what usually causes a HC change. How about now, Vance? Is it broken yet?

Derek Wolfe spoke to this some on 104.3 the Fan today. He said that the leaders of the team have been talking and that they are going to ensure that everyone puts their egos aside and listens to real criticism. He also inferred that their is no locker room division yet and that everyone is focused on pointing in the mirror vs. at each other. Make no mistake though that he said that there are some players that seem to have lost the passion for the game and that those players would be spoken to.

Overall and based on his comments, the coaching staff and team leaders are trying to work hard to avoid division in the locker room. He also said that they need to get back to playing loose, creating turnovers and having fun.

Siemian is terrible. "It's a unit issue"? No, your qb can't read a D or throw accurately. More importantly he's mentally destroyed. Vance better be careful, the identity of this team is the Defense. If he continues to sit on his hands he could lose this team

Yah, I think that's one thing alot of people aren't talking about, but definitely should, and that is Siemian's confidence which is clearly shot. I'm really stuck on just exactly why Joseph feels so loyal to him. I know Trev is a captain on this team and he's done good things while our QB, but he's hardly a proven commodity in this league. To say that Osweiler can't come in and do a better job at this point is stupid across the board IMO. If Brock goes in and sucks it up, then at least we'll know and have 8 more games to do whatever we want with the rest of the season.

My guess is the Broncos are trying to clear the way for Paxton to be able to have the final 8 games of the season. Say Brock does come in and plays at an average level. Well with this defense that might be enough to win a few more games. At this point I'm not sure that is where this team is at though. This is more a year for evaluation rather than competing and the most important player they need to evaluate is that of Paxton. Osweiler is a pretty well known commodity and Siemian is as well. So that leaves Paxton as that one long shot that maybe he finally has some things click and makes it where they can build around him.
