Over/Under on the first Tez penalty for targeting? 10:00 minutes?

Unfucking real! Bengals score 27 unanswered and are going to be 4-1.

And the Browns just beat the Ravens. Gives them two losses in the division. Bengals all alone in first place with the Steelers next.

Weird win. I didn't see anything but highlights. Looks like we absolutely killed ourselves for 2.5 quarters and then they imploded in the final quarter. 4-1 is a great start - And the team looks like they really give a damn. I don't think they are as talented as the 2015 version, but they play like they care again.

just watched the highlights, yea, takes some pressure off of dandy pants when Mixon is doing well and the defense scores 14 points of their own.

maybe if I just don't watch any games at all we'll win a eff'ing play off game

I think the offense is better. The defense is what is struggling and if they can somehow wind back into form and become a solid defense by the end of the season, we may have something in the playoffs. That special teams is awfully special though. I hope coverage teams get better.

No issues with Bullock or Huber, or Erickson, but boy, coverage and blocking package players need to improve.

Missed the game, but from what I have gathered, another INT killing a drive that wasn't on Dalton. That really put the offense in a hole because they were moving on that drive.

Funny thing about this year...I checked my phone and it was 17-3, and instead of thinking the game was over, I thought "ok, this team has come back before. Get a stop and a score, and they are still in it".

Wired feeling to have with this team.

I watched the game, that INT was indeed on Dalton. He threw it into too tight of coverage near the end zone. Dalton played pretty well. Couple non-calls really left me scratching my head, but nothing too out in left field in the game against either team. Refs did a decent job calling the game. Better than they have been in past weeks.

Didnt the ball hence off of someone 's hands? Thought I saw that from Hoard on twitter.

Maybe it wasnt a great decision, but if it was catchable and bounced off the WR, then im likely to say it was on the Wr.

Hard for me to say 100% since I didnt seen it myself.

It was reflected when thrown to Green, but the defender was right on Green's tail, and reached in at the right time and it deflected off his hand up into the air. That pick was on Dalton, coverage was just too damn tight. Had to be someone else open with 2-3 guys covering Green.

It was also just a really good play by the safety. He read it, drove on it and made the play. The other guys get paid too.

No way this offense is better than 2015. In 2015, the line had Whitworth and Zeitler.... Replaced by Glenn and Redmond. Not even close.

In 2015 the second and third receivers were Marvin Jones and Mo Sanu. Now they are Tyler Boyd and John "Sure Hands" Ross. Love me some Boyd, but this is definitely in favor of 2015.

In 2015 you had a healthy Tyler Eifert. Now we have Tyler Kroft. Advantage 2015.

The only place I'd say we are better is at running back. Joe Mixon is an upgrade over Jeremy Hill.

We have a secondary WR, and a star RB. Granted, I will give you Eifert and the line, but the line hasn't kept us from putting 30+ a game on the board. Eifert will be missed, he was a mismatch nightmare for D-coordinators.

Uzomah has stepped up in the pass catching end of things a bit this year. I like what he is doing so far. Plus, Schreck made a hell of a block for Mixon. Maybe between all of them they can create a decent year for us from that position.

The personnel isn’t better than 2015. However, I’d argue the scheme/playcalling is the best we’ve ever had here. Lazor’s offense fits Dalton perfectly. And he actually understands matchups and how to properly utilize his players.

The only weakness here is losing Eifert. As well as the right side of the offensive line. Redmond/Hart simply cannot continue to start. They both are terrible.
