Does the Celtics know that there are 2 halves of basketball?

Disgusting 2nd half performances in each of the first 2 games. They had NYK right where they wanted them at halftime of each time only to come back and score 25 2nd half points in game 1 and just 23 2nd half points tonight.:bullshit:

Another question I have about Boston. Rondo got hurt in January and are you really telling me they couldn't acquire a respectable PG in those 4 months leading up to the playoffs?

They know it, they just aren't that good anymore. They don't have Perkins who they traded away long time ago, they lost Ray Allen a year ago in the summer, KG is old and decrepit and they are still in transition in their rebuilding process. I wouldn't discount them though - they will most like win a game in Boston and then they can work on evening things up

I miss the Celtics homers who would try to spin this series in their favor. You have to wonder about Danny/ownership abilities to counter where they lack, ie rebounding being their most deficient area.

The rest is obvious, Bradley is a 2nd year bust after all his accolades showered on him last season, teams have figured him out. Terry is no longer same player when he was with Mavs. KG and PP have up and down games. No inside presence and even if they had Ray wouldn't have made much of a difference.

Oh and unless Melo stops himself, he's having a field day on Green.

I think Rondo will be welcomed back eagerly when he returns. KG is old. Celts had too much tied up in 33+ old players....its changing but its a painful process. I still think Pierce to Clips is a good move for all. Rondo will get this team going next year. Patience, no need to overreact and trade off picks and sign old vets to max contracts.

The Celtics are just too damn old. They should had try trading KG or Paul for some young talent.
