only fished it once years ago but crushed the walleyes. I even got a certificate from the state of Ohio for the large one, I think it was like 34" if memory serves. It was fun but to me floating on a huge vast lake just isn't the same as hunting for them on reefs and points in nooks and crannies of Canadian lakes.

But I have buddies who still go there, they love it, but they've told me of all the white bass.
Anything 28 and over is a called a Ohio fish and you get a certificate. But no one just floats around hoping to get lucky in today's world. The GPS has changed everything. You pinpoint small hotspots on large reefs and drop offs. But yes it is not as much fun as Canada fishing. But I fish to eat and I eat perch and walleyes like candy. mmmm 34? now that's nice. My biggest one ever was 34, ice fishing on Erie. 14.2 pound preggo.

I would have him on the list before Brett Farve. Not to say anything bad about Brett, but Aaron is a better all around QB in my opinion.

And why in the hell are we discussing this on the Bear forum?

Rodgers is the best QB in the entire NFL and I'm a Cowboy's fan.

After what Payton Manning did to the league last year, it would be a difficult discussion about best QB in the entire NFL. Especially since AR was out a bunch of games last year.

because if you read the thread it's really a football discussion more than anything else. The question is, is someone "among the greatest ever" if their legacy is short? Not...how is it going and if it keeps going? It is how is it now.

Forget Rodgers for a second. Let's say Peyton Manning has 2 more seasons statistically better than anything ever in Bronco history, then gets hurt or tired and retires. Let's say he wins a Super Bowl, or two even. Is Peyton Manning the best Bronco ever then? Better than Elway?

I would argue "no." Great run, yes, maybe "greatest run." But whole career? No way. I think the package is both individual seasons x seasons doing it. I think longevity counts for a lot.

If it doesn't, Mark Gastineau is an all-time great Jets pass rusher. If it doesn't, well...he was mediocre. Or closer to home, was Mark Anderson among great Bears pass rushers?

I know....it's not identical or perfectly analogous, I get it. But Rodgers has 5 and 2/3rds seasons in....yes, they have been GREAT seasons, they even won a Super Bowl in one. Somehow, to me, that total package still isn't "best 10 ever." Maybe it will be in 4 years, but today? Sorry. Not on board.
