The ex-Raiders head coach is currently suing the NFL over the same emails.

So, he destroyed two different rosters, is known as a racist, and when replaced a ST’s coach got his team to the playoffs, something he didn’t do in his 2nd stint with the Raiders?

He should be excommunicated from anything NFL at this point.

Best I can tell, Jon Gruden completely derailed a multi year Raiders SB competitive window.

Maybe there is an argument for him being an OC or TV analyst but thats his ceiling imo

Gruden's gonna get paid. No one for a second thinks that the only unsavory emails floating around NFL execs are one guy in Vegas and one front office in Washington. The various comments about race, women, sexual preference and who knows what else, will be kept nice and secret. Gruden will never be allowed to be on camera or publish one word about the NFL though, as he's viewed as damaged goods.

He was a good coach 20 years ago, but that late 90s and early 2000s fire left him as he spent all that time getting fat in the booth.
