I think it is the correct idea, and they should make the change next season... No, i am not being sarcastic!! But to do it there must be a 20 week season... Also of course increase the roster size...

6 weeks of byes in the first half: week 5-10
6 weeks of byes in the 2nd half: 12-17

This will make everyone happy...

I think that the owners favor that idea. I don't think that the NFLPA likes it, but they might agree to it if the preseason is shortened and rosters are expanded. Personally, I don't like it, since it provides more opportunity for injuries and I tend to favor the "if it's not broke, don't fix it" way of doing things.

I don't really think it would be a good idea. You will see more teams pulling their starters earlier in games and I think it could ruin the dynamics of the late season playoff race(extra games means extra chances to win games). A 2 game lead in the division wont mean as much with 2 extra game to be player. In other words, I like how it is now.

Possibly. I would worry about RBs the most. 18 game seasons would almost certainly make the feature RB extinct. Bad for fantasy IMO.
